Filming: Day 3 - Final Day

Today was our final day of filming!
Today we filmed all the of the shots that are on stage, performing in the theatre and re shot some of the scenes that we could have done better from day one.

At the beginning of our shooting schedule we reinforced our plans for the day and went through the risk assessment we'd made in preparation for filming.

Here Scarlet is directing our actresses as to where to look while filming.

This photo shows how we used the projector to have a image on the curtains at the back for our performance.

Here I am using and positioning the spotlight to create a effective lighting for our performance. We were able to change the filters to give us the effect we wanted, dimming and shinning the light when appropriate while also able to change the colour of lighting if we decided. (We decided to use a faint purple nearing the end of our shots.)

Here I am filming the final section of our performance from the audiences perspective.

As we thought tracking would be effective for our shot and we didn't have any tracking equipment we attempted to make our own. We used some paper which slipped under the legs of the tripod so we could then drag the tripod across the stage smoothly while not causing any damage to the tripod or stage.

Here you can see where Mollie is shinning the spotlight onto the stage while both Scarlet and I film from different angles.  (Photo taken by Olivia Sprouting)

It's Scarlet's turn to use the spotlight.

This is at the end of our schedule where we re-filmed some sections from day 1 of filming. We decided to dim the lighting to make it more gloomy and realistic before going on stage, while we also slightly changed the positioning of our extras.
Above you can see Scarlet filming these sections while I did hand held lighting. (Unfortunately you can't see Mollie in this shot, however she is directing the extras round the corner of the other side of the corridor. Photo taken by Olivia Sprouting)
